✏️ If I was your marketing strategist

🔥 Most business owners pour their whole heart into their Black Friday campaigns — perfecting copy, designing assets, stocking inventory…
But then forget the small things that quietly sneak in and sabotage everything.
The devil is in the details, my friend.
If you’re gearing up for a holiday promo, limited edition drop, or a seasonal launch, do yourself a favor, take a breath and run a few last checks so you don’t lose out on hard-earned sales over tiny slip ups.
1️⃣ Check your coupon codes actually work.
I’ve been a victim of this one before and it sucks.
I know you think you set it up correctly… I know you assume it’s gonna work smooth as butter…
But you know what they say about assuming right? 😜🫏
Do your campaign a solid and test every code. I mean literally plug it in yourself and run a test purchase.
2️⃣ Walk through your full checkout process like a real customer.
Put something in the cart. Update the quantity. Remove it. Re-add it. Make sure nothing breaks. Remove any friction you experience. 🛒
If you’re promising free shipping at a specific order amount, make sure that free shipping actually gets applied.
Nothing hurts trust like a faulty checkout. Your people made it all the way, they’re literally crossing the finish line — don’t lose them there!
3️⃣ Click every link in your emails and social posts.
It’s super simple, but hella impactful.
One dead link during your biggest sales moment can stop someone who was ready to buy. 💔
So check 👏 yo’ 👏 links! 👏
4️⃣ Check your landing page load speed.
This one doesn’t get nearly enough air time, but it’s amazing what tiny tweaks in load time can do for the success of a campaign.
People will ab-so-lute-ly bounce if a page doesn’t load fast enough.
A page I recently optimized saw a jump in 50% more leads and a $1 difference in cost per leads in just 7 days after I shaved 2 seconds off the load time.
If that seems small, remember that incremental results compound over time.
The faster your page loads, the more people actually make it there to shop your lovely offers. 😘
5️⃣ And double check your automated emails are sending the way you think they are.
Confirmation emails. Abandoned cart emails. Thank you emails. They ALL matter this week. ✉️
So even if they weren’t built for this campaign specifically, make sure you double check those bad boys and ensure nothing has broken since you originally created them.
You worked too dang hard on your campaign to let one tiny technical miss tank it. Give yourself the time and space to check, double-check, even triple-check your work.
Then get out there and absolutely crush it this year, friend!
