✏️ If I was your marketing strategist
-------
The one strategy I'm doubling down on this year with all of my clients...
Simplicity
It's something I see a lot with fellow business owners:
- We're trying to show up on multiple platforms… but not really consistent on any 🙈
- We leapfrog from product to product (or service to service) trying to be and sell everything to everyone 🐸
- We have 8 different goals we’re trying to achieve this month, each with their own massive to-do list 🐙
It's no wonder so many of us are flirting with burnout.
Our time and energy are stretched ridiculously thin.
What it took me way too long to realize is that when I spread my limited time across five different offers, four different platforms, and a laundry list of "priority" goals, nothing got my full attention.
I was DOING a lot. But I was getting nowhere.
Things take longer to complete, critical details get dropped in the shuffle, and it's way harder to achieve momentum.
Which makes things easier to give up on.
So from someone who's been there, I say this with heaps of love and oodles of respect -- simplify the sh*t out of what you’re doing.
This isn't about doing the bare minimum, or taking an ax to your product catalog, or burning your website to the ground.
It's about intentionally choosing where you invest your time.
✨ Dial it way back.
✨ Get hyper focused and specific.
✨ Commit to going deep instead of going wide.
It might seem backwards. It might be the opposite of what everyone else preaches.
But I see it time and again with clients...
📈 The minute they decide to focus on one core offer and commit to working on it until they get it right, that offer takes off.
🧘♀️ The minute they choose to let go of showing up everywhere, all the time and instead show up intentionally in one or two places, they breathe a sigh of relief.
🧭 The minute they go all in on that one goal, suddenly the path forward becomes crystal clear.
Because here is what i know with absolute certainty:
Doing everything is NOT a recipe for success. It’s a recipe for scattered effort, slow results, and burnout.
The ONLY way to grow sustainably and meaningfully is when you take the proverbial hedge trimmers to your business and cut the things that are weighing on your brain unnecessarily, hanging out on your to-do list just causing you stress, or creating confusion and distraction on your website. ✂️
What this looks like in practice:
- Instead of trying to show up on Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok, pick ONE and prioritize it, let the others go
- Instead of trying to sell everything you’ve got to offer, pick one product, service, or category and prioritize selling THAT for a month or even a quarter — if it doesn’t sell at first, don’t change the offer, change the messaging.
- Instead of trying to achieve every goal you have, pick ONE and commit to it until you achieve it.
Wondering where you should be investing your time for maximum growth in your business?
Stay tuned, friend. I've got something in the works for ya that I'll be sharing in just a few days. 😉
